Here is another example of code that demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of how things work<\/em>, or at least<\/em> of MFC and\/or the RTL…<\/p>\n

Now, I can understand the need to do a case-insensitive compare of an INI file value.\u00a0 But we have functions designed to do that!\u00a0 Never heard of stricmp(…)<\/strong> and its variants?\u00a0 OK – even if you do not know about the available RTL functions and all you know is CString<\/strong>, never heard of CString::CompareNoCase(…)<\/strong>?<\/p>\n
Code like this just demonstrates ignorance, plain and simple.\u00a0 Oh, and how goes\u00a0that exception handling for situations where CString<\/strong> fails to allocate memory?\u00a0 Oh, yeah…\u00a0 THERE IS NONE!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
